     My favorite animated film is "Spirited Away" by the animation studio known as Studio Ghibli.

What was your best work this year? Describe the work (10)
My best work this year was  my final animation in this class. Towards the end of my animation, the black hole took a long time to make. It demonstrates the various Principles of Animation along with the Principles of Design and the Elements of Art. It utilizes the techniques that we have been learning this entire year. This was the first animation I produced with sound. It uses a "sucking noise" as the spaceship is being sucked into the black hole. In the center of the black hole, the color is constantly changing due to it being unstable.

Write a one paragraph summary of your last animation. (10)
This last animation that I created was one of the best this entire year. It utilizes all of the techniques that we have been learning this year. By using the  information that I learned this year, I was able to do the most difficult part of the project-creating the black hole. The black whose uses the first Principle of Animation which is Squash and Stretch. Along with that, the black hole uses a wide spectrum of colors to give emphasis. Along with using the large spectrum of  colors, I was able to utilize sound in the animation. The sound added was a "sucking noise" to emphasize the spaceship being sucked into the black hole.

~THE PARTY~

Log line: Mr. Gatsby is a secretive man. What will happen when three people go back in time and uncover his past? Will they tell his secrets and dismantle his facade? 

 Characters:

Act 1: (starts at Max's House on a three way phone call with Ellie and Lily)
Max: Hey guys! Are you done getting ready for  tonight? (fixes his tie)
Ellie: Yeah, I'm so excited (looks through her closet)
Lily: Me too! I am almost ready! (fixes her hair)
Max: Okay, I will be on my way to pick you guys up.
Lily & Ellie: Thanks Max! See you then. ( hanging up the phone)

Act 2: (everyone is in Max's car headed to the party)
Lily: I am very curious about this, Gatsby. (furrowing her eyebrows in confusion)
Ellie: Yeah, isn't it odd that we know nothing about him?
Max: Relax guys, no one knows him that well. He's (stops to think)
a mystery.
Lily: Hmm, I wish I could figure him out.
Ellie: I wonder what his past was like!
Max: Can you all just be excited for the party and stop with all your investigative questions? He's a private man, let him be. I'm sure he is just like the rest of us.

Act 3: (Currently at Mr. Gatsby's house party)
Ellie: This house is beautiful. Look at the vintage paintings!
Max: This is the best party I have seen in years! ( raising his voice)
Lily: Let's go get some refreshments.
Max: Good idea Lily! (Getting excited)
Ellie:(After gulping down the last bit of her drink) I wonder if Gatsby is actually here.
Lily: I don't know but I feel dizzy!
Max: Yeah me too!
Ellie: Is the room spinning?

(Lily, Max, and Ellie are stuck in a spinning room and began to rise through a tornado like portal)

1. Piano- used by playing the piano
2. The mouse trap- the sound can be made by slapping a book closed.
3. The Piano Cover- you can make this sound by closing a door.
4. Panting- make short breathing noises to make it sound like panting.
5. Scissors- get a pair of scissors and pretend to cut something loudly.
